Summer of 96 My father purchased a slightly used Dodge Stealth
from a sales person named sean. He was very unprofessional. After the purchase
we asked him for the owners manual due to the fact it was used it had been
misplaced. He agreed to do such and that was the last we heard from him. I
called 3 months later, he claimed that it had been sent to our home within
2wks. There was no trace of paperwork on it. I gave him another 4 months or so,
still no owners manual. Finnaly a year and a month after purchase I had my
book.
As for their service dept. Multiple problems with their incompetent staff.
Within the 3/36,000 limit I had them attempt to cure 2 problems. First one
deals with the radio not recieving any stations. They gladly said they would
fix it. 2 weeks later theres a phone call. The radio was sent out to be fixed
and was just returned, installed and problem fixed. We picked up the car and
drove about 12 feet and noticed it had not been fixed. Returned it once again.
They replaced the antenna and returned the vehical once again to us, the
problem still apparent. And to top that off they left all the interior pieces
in a pile in side the trunk.
It is now 1999 and the problem still installed.
#2 We asked them to fix the rear wiper at the same time the radio was looked
at.
They had to order a wiper motor which came in about 2 months after.
Now we had 38,000 on the vehical and the service rep. (FEMALE) claimed that
they had not obligation to fix the vehical under warrentee nor were about to do
it for free.
Confused? Yeah me too. I had brought the car in under the mileage and now that
the part was back ordered I am to blame for its failure.
