Name: Allen Ward Date: Oct. 98 - July 99 Rating: (terrible) Description: I have taken my 95 Dodge Dakota 4x4 to the dealer for warranty service at least 12 times since I purchased it. Each trip is about 50 minutes each way. My first complaint is with Dodge. The vinyl and cloth seat covers have been replaced twice for tearing. They tore again before the 30,000 mile warranty expired, but I was unable to get to the dealership before the warranty eaxpired. The extended warranty did not cover this. The dealership would not provide me a phone number to contact dodge about this matter. The main problem I have had with the dealership began last fall,98. That summer my blower motor under the dash quit. It was fall before I could find the time to get it fixed. The dealership installed a new motor but did not put the dash and steering column back together properly. I made another trip back for them to fix this. This time they ficed the steering column and exterior of the dash, but when I picked up the truck cold air was blowing in where the dash had not been sealed properly. I again took the truck back and they installed another gasket around the dash because the first gasket was not installed properly. It still let cold air blow in, but I gave up on geeting this fixed. This spring the air conditioner quit working. I took it to another mechanic they found that the evaporator coil under the dash had a hole poked in it. I took the truck back and, they kept it for 4 days this time. When I picked the truck up, the air conditioner worked but the vent on the driver's side did not work also the air direction buttons did not work. I am in the process of trying to get this fixed.
