i purchased my first dodge product.i already wrote in my first
encounter with a dodge dealer that was huntington beach dodge. so anyway i
dragged the wife out with me. we sold the chevy dually by this time so i had
cash to buy the truck
So we came on the lot and thats where we saw my truck. white dodge xtra cab 4x4
dakota. Loved it but couldnt show it ( you know how it is) So anyway Jim ( the
sales guy) happend to be out on the lot and he said hello . We liked him
instantly. wery nice soft spoken and a pleasure to talk to. He showed us what
he had in stock and asked what we needed to fill our needs. we told him we were
looking at a dakota or a zr2 4x4 little lie about the ZR2. So he went to
explain the features of the dakota and the strenghts of the truck. We took it
for a drive and the drive was a good 15 20 minutes in which timne i basically
drove the truck and he didnt say anything. He didnt give me the often heard
phrases What is it gonna take to get you in this car tonight, or This truck/car
is you. You know the phrases. All Jim asked us was If we can meet your price
are you willing to buy it tonight? We said yes and at that point it was a
question not a sleazy phrase. Overall i have to say this was the second time i
got a truck without any pain. the other time being the wifes Jimmy. of course
that salesman left ot go to another dealer where he became manager. Overall im
happy with the dodge and the sales. i dont know about the parts or service but
ill let you know the first time i go in for any work.
